Lindisfarne Monastery is on the North East coast of England, near the Scottish border. It was founded by Saint Aiden in 635 CE. The illuminated manuscript of the Lindisfarne Gospels was made roughly between 698 to 715. The illuminations or graphics show the drapery rod, ring and ceiling bracket hand forged by the monks at Lindisfarne Abbey.
